My granddaughter absolutely loves going to saddle camp, it's pretty much all she talks about for a month before and a month after. Helen is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, and it's the only place my daughter feels comfortable leaving her child as we live nearly 4 hours away. According to my granddaughter, the food is also fantastic. Can't recommend the place highly enough.

Helen, her team (including her family), her marvellous horses and the little piece of paradise she's carved out are an absolute delight. My girls and I learnt so much and very much appreciated the energy, compassion and every thoughtful touch that was put into our stay. The natural horsemanship is refreshing and inspiring. Our 7 year old daughter and her friend spent a girls saddle camp weekend at Helen's and had the best time. Helen and her family went out of their way to make it a weekend to remember. Horse riding, picnic, feeding the chickens and goats, fun horse games and a movie night.
On a different occasion, I came back to Helen's farm and stayed for 1 night/short stay myself. Again, we were looked after exceptionally well by Helen and one of her sons. Highly recommended to kids and grown ups alike. From Katharina

My daughter had the most wonderful time at saddle camp. With friends the girls enjoyed 3 nights with Helen and her team. It was a refresh the girls needed, they all spoke of the excellent program, delicious fresh food and warm company. They cannot wait to go back next school holidays!

The Saddle Camp experience is unforgettable in every good way.
The trainers are attentive, the camp facilities are excellent and the experience for a young woman is memory making.
It's a must do for those that love horses. About 5 years ago, we camped as a family at Saddle Camp (now they have tiny homes as well) and our daughter attended a weekend camp. It was incredible. I was talking about it just yesterday with her!
