We love the saddle camp!

We love the saddle camp. Such a welcoming warm place to spend some time.

Helen is amazing with the kids and lovely with the horses. She has such great passion that infuses everything she does and it's really inspiring - not only for the kids but has been for the adults of our family as well.
The location is delightful, and having Bombay swimming area nearby that they can visit on horses is really special.

My son has been involved in saddle camp for some years and we hope we continue to be for years to come. It has become valued as aspect of our lives

What an absolute treasure to find Helen and enjoy the beautiful place she has created on her property. Not just a place to stay in a tiny home, but a place to experience coffee and treats on the covered porch overlooking the arena. A place where the kids keep running up to you to say ‘we met the goats’, ‘we fed the horses’, ‘can we ho to the swim hole’ and the best ever from a child: ‘when can we come back?’
And even better question as an adult: ‘where are the kids?’ And the answer is that they are not on their phones but off exploring.
A simple overnight here with horse riding the next day for my nine year old niece turned into a future of overnight camps and a her first job helping others.
If you have a daughter who’s just a little bit horsey you’d do well to put Helen in her and your life.
She is an inspiration. Gentle, firm and kind.
I feel very fortunate that we found her family farm and get to share in its journey. Thank you Helen.

Can't recommend the place highly enough...

My granddaughter absolutely loves going to saddle camp, it's pretty much all she talks about for a month before and a month after. Helen is attentive, knowledgeable and friendly, and it's the only place my daughter feels comfortable leaving her child as we live nearly 4 hours away. According to my granddaughter, the food is also fantastic. Can't recommend the place highly enough.

Helen, her team (including her family), her marvellous horses and the little piece of paradise she's carved out are an absolute delight. My girls and I learnt so much and very much appreciated the energy, compassion and every thoughtful touch that was put into our stay. The natural horsemanship is refreshing and inspiring. A weekend to remember!

Our 7 year old daughter and her friend spent a girls saddle camp weekend at Helen's and had the best time. Helen and her family went out of their way to make it a weekend to remember. Horse riding, picnic, feeding the chickens and goats, fun horse games and a movie night.

On a different occasion, I came back to Helen's farm and stayed for 1 night/short stay myself. Again, we were looked after exceptionally well by Helen and one of her sons. Highly recommended to kids and grown ups alike. From Katharina

My daughter's favourite place on earth...

My daughter has been attending camps for years and it is honestly her favourite place on earth.

She'd rather come to Saddle Camp than go anywhere else.

The helpers, the horses, the food, the fun, and above all, the instructor. Helen IS Saddle Camp. Her enthusiasm and obvious love for her horses and her riders are second to none.

My daughter had the most wonderful time at saddle camp. With friends the girls enjoyed 3 nights with Helen and her team. It was a refresh the girls needed, they all spoke of the excellent program, delicious fresh food and warm company. They cannot wait to go back next school holidays!

The Saddle Camp experience is unforgettable in every good way.

The trainers are attentive, the camp facilities are excellent and the experience for a young woman is memory making.

It's a must do for those that love horses. About 5 years ago, we camped as a family at Saddle Camp (now they have tiny homes as well) and our daughter attended a weekend camp. It was incredible. I was talking about it just yesterday with her!

Thank you so much for having us! We all absolutely loved it and can’t wait to come back and see everyone again.

We cannot stop talking about how much we miss the horses and all of you already.
