Saddle Camp in Braidwood is truly something special. Helen, the owner, is one of the most charismatic and warm people you could ever meet – she treats her horses like family, and it shows in how gentle, happy, and well looked after they are. Riding them was such a joy, and we felt safe and completely at ease the whole time.

Her son Dexter is an absolute legend – fun, friendly, and so great with people of all ages. He guided us with such confidence and made the trail ride extra enjoyable with his energy and easygoing nature.

And then there’s Blake – a master baker in the making! Honestly, his caramel slices are to die for. You can just tell he’s destined to be a world-class baker, and it was such a treat (literally!) to taste his creations alongside the horse riding.

The whole family brings such a welcoming, fun, and uplifting atmosphere to Saddle Camp. It wasn’t just a horse-riding experience – it felt like spending the day with friends who love what they do and want to share it with others.
