My daughter had the most wonderful time at saddle camp. With friends the girls enjoyed 3 nights with Helen and her team. It was a refresh the girls needed, they all spoke of the excellent program, delicious fresh food and warm company. They cannot wait to go back next school holidays!

The Saddle Camp experience is unforgettable in every good way.
The trainers are attentive, the camp facilities are excellent and the experience for a young woman is memory making.
It's a must do for those that love horses. About 5 years ago, we camped as a family at Saddle Camp (now they have tiny homes as well) and our daughter attended a weekend camp. It was incredible. I was talking about it just yesterday with her!

Saddle Camp in Braidwood is truly something special. Helen, the owner, is one of the most charismatic and warm people you could ever meet – she treats her horses like family, and it shows in how gentle, happy, and well looked after they are. Riding them was such a joy, and we felt safe and completely at ease the whole time.
Her son Dexter is an absolute legend – fun, friendly, and so great with people of all ages. He guided us with such confidence and made the trail ride extra enjoyable with his energy and easygoing nature.
And then there’s Blake – a master baker in the making! Honestly, his caramel slices are to die for. You can just tell he’s destined to be a world-class baker, and it was such a treat (literally!) to taste his creations alongside the horse riding.
The whole family brings such a welcoming, fun, and uplifting atmosphere to Saddle Camp. It wasn’t just a horse-riding experience – it felt like spending the day with friends who love what they do and want to share it with others. We left with full hearts, big smiles, and already planning our next visit. Could not recommend more highly! From Mady
N.B. Tim is a famous retired Marketing Agency Owner, who took me under his wing when I first moved to Braidwood. He could see I was struggling making a living with Riding Lessons and Carriage Tours. He invited me over for dinner and suggested creating The Saddle Camp - A Girls Only Sleepover Camp.
“Great news , I was always more than happy to do what little I could, Helen . That's because you, yes you, are made of the right stuff . You not only give things a go (which so few people do) you also put all you've got into doing it (which even fewer people ever do). Nobody can do more than that. I've seen you rise to the occasion time and time again.
In many ways whether you succeed or fail is secondary because you'll always be able to truthfully say to yourself "I really tried ". That's the hallmark of true success , especially so in your case because you always do things with positivity and love in your heart.
